Why Mimi Clinger, Contract Specialist, Loves Her Job

Mimi Clinger, a contract specialist with Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ Studio Design Contracts team, has been with the brand for just over a year and loves her work.

“I never know what to expect on a daily basis because no two days are ever the same,” Clinger said. “Every day I’m learning something new.”

In her role as a contract specialist, Clinger works directly with hoteliers to scope out their design work, come up with an action plan, and then work through with signed contracts and assigned with a Design Team.

“I love working with our Members on their Property Improvement Plans to help them be cost effective and successful in their projects,” says Clinger, who works with up to 100 different properties at a time.

She also enjoys interacting with the other teams at Best Western including North American Development, Design Excellence, Supply, FF&E, District Managers and Onboarding teams. Interdepartmental communication is pivotal to our success. “This company has so many great people, and I’ve made a lot of friends here,” says Clinger. “It’s rewarding to come to work each day with people you enjoy being with.”
